PAYMENT POLICIES
1. Tuition fees for the 2008-09 dance season are due at the time of
registration, using the following payment methods:
- Payment Option #1: At the time of registration, tuition fees are
paid in full, by cash or cheque. Specialty programs and adult classes
are due in full at the time of registration.
- Payment Option #2: At the time of registration, pay 50% down for
tuition fees, by cash or cheque, with the balance paid in 1 postdated
cheque. Post dated cheque MUST be provided at the time of registration
and dated for October 1, 2008. This payment option is not available
for speciality programs or adult programs.
- Payment Option #3 (For Early Registration [June 2008] only): At
the time of registration, pay 40% down for tuition fees, by cash or
cheque, with the balance paid in 2 postdated cheques. Postdated cheques
MUST be provided at the time of registration and dated for September
1, 2008 and October 1, 2008.
2. A $25.00 service charge will apply to all N.S.F. cheques, regardless
of the reason.
3. Missed classes are non-refundable.
4. If any student wishes to discontinue lessons, written notice must
be given to the office on or before October 1, 2008. A $35 service
fee will be deducted from any applicable refund. After October 1, 2008
refunds will not be issued to anyone who discontinues lessons, regardless
of reason.
5. Occasionally classes are cancelled by Step by Step School of Dance
due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, power outage, etc.). These
classes are non-refundable, as class fees are tuition based. On days
when we are inclement weather conditions please call the studio voice
mail or our web site 1hour prior to your child’s lesson to check
the status of classes. If classes are cancelled there will be message
indicating this. You will NOT receive a personal phone call at home,
so please be sure to check the status of classes before you leave home.
Tuition Fees
All program tuition fees include G.S.T. All annual performance, costume,
exam and competition expenses are additional, if applicable. Discounts:
There will be a 5% discount for any student or family taking 3 or more
programs per week. This discount is not applicable to the All Round
Dancer, Dance Study Programs or Competitive Student Programs or Specialty
Programs (Hooray for Ballet, Gotta Dance & Adult Programs).
Specialty Programs: Hooray! for Ballet (10 weeks), Let’s Dance! (10 weeks), Adult Fit & Variety (10
weeks), Adult Dance Programs: Hip Hop, Jazz & Tap (14 weeks)

Creative Movement Programs:
Pre-Dance & Kinder-Dance.
30 Minute Programs:
Pre-Jazz, Pre-Primary Levels, Primary Tap, Primary Ballet Year I, Beginner
Pointe & Pointe.
45 Minute Programs:
Primary Ballet Year II, Pre-Bronze levels, Bronze levels, Grade 1 through
Grade 2 Tap & Theatre.
1 Hour Programs:
Hip Hop, Modern Workshop, Jr./Int. & Sr. Lyrical Jazz.
Grade 1 & Silver Ballet, Grade 1 & Silver Jazz:
Tuition fee includes all required classes: 1 Regular Jazz or Ballet
Class and 1 Junior Limbering Class per week.
Grade 2 Jazz:
Tuition fee includes all required classes: 1 Regular Jazz Class and
1 Intermediate Limbering Class per week.
Grade 2, 3 Ballet:
Tuition fee includes all required classes: 1 Regular Ballet, 1 Ballet
Technique and 1 Intermediate Limbering Class per week.
Gold/Grade 3 Jazz & Up:
Tuition fee includes all required classes: 1 Regular Jazz Class, 1 Lyrical
Jazz class and 1 Senior Limbering class per week.
Grade 4 & Grade 5 Ballet:
Tuition fee includes all required classes: 1 Regular Ballet Class, 1
Ballet Technique Class & 1 Senior Limbering Class.
Elementary Tap:
Tuition fee includes: 1 Regular Tap Class & three two hour sessions
to be scheduled by the instructor.
Elementary/Intermediate Ballet:
Tuition fee includes all required classes: 1 Regular Ballet Class, 1
Ballet Technique Class, 1 Pointe Class and 1 Senior Limbering Class.
All Round Dancer Program:
Tuition fee includes: 2 Ballet classes, 1 Limbering Class & 1 Theatre
Class, per week plus your choice of two (2) of the following classes
weekly: Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical Jazz, Modern, 2nd Limbering Class
or Pointe (if applicable).
Dance Study Program (Unlimited):
Tuition Fee includes your choice of as many weekly classes as you want!!
Choose from: Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Theatre, Hip Hop, Lyrical Jazz, Modern,
Limbering Class or Pointe (if applicable). An Incredible Savings!!
