The British Association of Teachers of Dancing (B.A.T.D.) Medal Tests
and Grade Examinations-March 2007
The examinations were held at the studio on March 26,
27 & 28, 2007. The examiner, Mrs. Laurie Ann Graham, was impressed
with the high standard achieved. The 156 participants received the following
terrific marks; 35Honours, 61Highly Commended, 38Commended, 20 Pass
Plus & 2 Pass.
Les Grand Ballet Canadiens-Nutcraker Suite at
the NAC
December 2006
Congratulations to Kayla Troughton & Alyssa Charlebois
on their successful audition. Kayla was cast as an Angel and Alyssa
was chosen for the role of understudy (Angels). The Nutcracker Suite
will be performed at The National Arts Centre on December 7 to December
10, 2006.

Congratulations to Talia Brennan, Rhiannon Duxbury,
Abigail Gordon, Maggie Kendall, Jessica Ladoucuer and Ariana Mortimer
on their successful auditions. The students were cast as bon-bons and
reindeer. They will be performing at Centrepoint Theatre on December
15 to December 17, 2006.
B.A.T.D. Canadian Scholarships

Congratulations to: Amy Honshorst, Anne-Marie Laramee, Kayla Troughton,
for being selected (by their exmainer, during our March 2006 exam session)
to compete at the Canadian Bristish Asssociation of Teachers of
Dancing Junior Jazz Scholarships, held in Toronto on November
10, 2006. It is such an honor to be chosen as only a small number of
"Honours" students are chosen to compete at this prestigious
event.
Congratulations to Kayla Troughton on her win as Runner Up for
the Junior Jazz Scholarship!
